Breathe In Breathe Out

Over 20,000 years of art history in 100 questions, amazing how condense things can be sometimes. Simple mind boggiling (?) Well after the fact I found out that the Stag was made by the Sycthians in Russia and not the Persians. There isn’t anything I can do about it now, but it was still 2 or 3 points on the test.
So I was reading my Bible today and read Luke 10. It was really interesting in Luke 10:39,42. The part where Martha was getting annoyed with Mary beucase Mary wasn’t helping with the preparations for the houseguests, instead she was sitting and listening at Jesus’ feet. I realized that I’ve been reading but not just sitting and being with the Lord. So I just thought I’d let you know about my revaltion today, I hoep you all take time today to just sit with God. Just be there and not worry about the house-guests or work or anything. Just be.

It’s a chilly…

It’s a chilly Norah Jones morning. Soft music, lullaby melodies, beautiful voice, everything fits together. The relaxing music goes quite well with the chilly gray morning here in Utica. It kind of makes me just want to hop back under all of my covers and close my eyes and fall asleep to the lyrics. So basically I highly recommend buying one or both of her cds, I haven’t heard the second one yet but the first is positively wonderful. Well I’m off to study hard for my Art History exam which is at 6:30 this evening. Cave paintings to Minoan and Mycenean art. That’s about a little of 20,000 years of art B.C. What fun!!
