Spontaneous Sunflower

One Platypus’ Journey.

Time for another trip…

In the morning—early early morning I leave for Seattle. Due to recent events this trip has become even more excited if it is possible because…..Dan and I will be moving to Seattle a week after the wedding.Seattle

Today marks 50 days until the wedding. Yes I have a countdown going- I started at day 94. We’re moving pretty quickly towards the end of the countdown. And yesterday is the one year anniversary to mark the evening that Dan proposed to me. How exciting!

Heading Home

I’m going home today, it my actual home and not to S.U. I’m so looking forward to it, last time I was home it was for literally two seconds while I grabbed a gift certificate, and the time before it was for the Hilary Duff concert at the State Fair, even then I was only home for sleeping time. Plus it’s a three day weekend, classes aren’t meeting this coming up Monday due to Columbus day. I’m greatly looking forward to just sitting with my Momma, going Contra dancing tonight, and going to the bank (I need money for my poor college student side)
So a month ago my Momma sent her youngest birdie out of the nest to stretch her wings, but don’t worry Momma I’m flying home. :):)
I miss my home.

You Really Know How to Dance

It’s Sunday night after an amazing weekend in th Syracuse/home region. Let’s see this weekend I just really was able to relax and get away from the school setting here, which was really nice, I needed to get away. Plus I got to see Dan, Sara, Kailyn and Joseph, plus some others. This weekend was just a really good time. Dan and I went out to King David’s, one of my favorite places. I love the decorations and the food, everything except the Apricot Nectar juice, but hey you can’t get everything you want.
This morning I went to Church, saw lots of people that I really miss, and hadn’t realized I missed them until I hugged them. The it kind of hit me in the face and I realized how much I appreciate everyone, they make me feel so loved and blessed. God has really blessed me with amazing people in my like.
Interesting tid-bits of this weekend:
1. I saw Dan’s belly dancing moves from the Cultural Festival
2. I learned how to perfect my peeling and slicing apple skills without a apple corer peeler slicer mechanism.
3. I learned that Dan and I apparently look like brother and sister, and someone tried to set me up with their 30 year old brother. Excuse me but I’m 18.
4. I oredered my digital camera this morning, can’t wait to start clicking away, then maybe I’ll learn how to put pictures on here.
